I believe the more you travel around the better your understanding of people will be. I have been very bless to be able to travel not just out of the country but in my back yard. The Downtown Development District of New Orleans partners with Riverwalk Marketplace mall to host two special nights of outdoor holiday movies on the Mississippi River for several hundred guests as part of the annual Canal Street: Home for the Holidays celebration. This event began in 2010 with just one movie night. The event was so popular, had such low costs and light logistics requirements that it was quickly decided that two nights were needed! Hot chocolate and other tasty treats are available, Santa pays a visit and the DDD gives out 100 Canal Street: Home for the Holidays fleece blankets.
